Meet Debbie S. Lombardi, AuD, CCC-A/SLP
Dr. Debbie S. Lombardi has been the owner and service provider at Collegeville Speech and Hearing since July 2004 following the retirement of Judith W. Cooke. Dr. Lombardi is a dual certified and licensed Doctor of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathologist. She obtained a Master’s degree in Audiology from Bloomsburg University and Doctoral degree in Audiology from Central Michigan University. She obtained a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from West Chester University. In 2018, Dr. Lombardi opened a satellite office in Brownstown, Lancaster County.
Dr. Lombardi has previously worked in a variety of settings including educational agencies, hospitals, and private practice. She has expertise in the areas of diagnostic hearing evaluations for children and adults, hearing aid fittings, tinnitus and auditory processing evaluations and treatment. In addition, Dr. Lombardi is proficient in areas of childhood speech and language development and disorders including articulation, apraxia, oral motor planning, expressive and receptive language.
Dr. Lombardi is a member of the following organizations: American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, Pennsylvania Academy of Audiology and Pennsylvania Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She served on the Pennsylvania Academy of Audiology as the Director of Publications from 2019 through 2022. She also serves on the Pennsylvania Cohort of The Audiology Project to help in the education of the link between diabetes and hearing loss. Dr. Lombardi, her husband David, daughter Claire and cairn terrier reside in Ephrata, Lancaster county. In her free time Dr. Lombardi enjoys cooking and keeping up with her daughter’s activities.
